How to get involved?
A Foundation, created by and for our teammates, to support them in their commitments.

Our criteria for submitting a project with the Decathlon Foundation:
Here are the criteria for project support by the Decathlon Foundation :
Long-Term Projects
We accompany only initiatives lasting more than a year to ensure sustainable impact and lasting change.
Occasional events (solidarity races, sponsorships, tombolas, etc.) are not included in our support criteria.
Focus on Vulnerable Populations
We exclusively support projects aimed at people in situations of social, economic or physical vulnerability, in order to guarantee access to the benefits of sport for those who need it most.
Team Involvement
Decathlon teammates must be humanly involved in the project (sharing sporting moments with the beneficiaries; supporting them in their professional integration via workshops, etc.). This is why we only support projects in countries where Decathlon is present.
Sport integration
Each initiative must include sport or physical activity at the heart of its project as a means of social change.
In partnership with associations
We only collaborate with non-profit organisations that share our values.

Steps for submitting a project
STEP 1:
The project you wish to present to the Decathlon Foundation must adhere to a few key criteria: it should be long-term (at least 1 year), actively involve Decathlon teammates, and help people in vulnerable situations have access to the benefits of sports.
STEP 2:
To develop your project with the Decathlon Foundation, you’ll need to connect with a project manager from the Decathlon Foundation team and also find Decathlon teammates from a nearby store / site who will collaborate with you and volunteer for the project.
STEP 3:
You and the dedicated Decathlon teammates will collaborate to thoroughly complete a detailed application form of the project’s objectives, operations, and impact, under the guidance of the Foundation team’s project manager.
STEP 4:
Once your application form is approved by the project manager, you will be invited to a presentation in front of the board, where a decision will be made regarding whether the Decathlon Foundation will support your project.
