THE COLORAMA SKATE PARK IN THE CONDITION PUBLIQUE

The 11th October 2018, at the Condition Publique (Roubaix), the members of the Board of Directors of the Decathlon Foundation supported Jean-Philippe Rode’s project (Skate Product Manager at Decathlon), his team, and the Condition Publique in order to build a skatepark accessible to all to develop the practice in the Haut de France!

September 18, 2020: Colorama is open!

The skatepark is accessible on a self-service basis for confirmed and beginners skateboarders throughout the year and will also offer learning sessions by sports educators for those who wish!

For this, Jean-Philippe Rode has participated throughout the creation process to the structure of the skatepark with his team to allow future skateboarders to practice in the best conditions!

For Jean-Philippe, “the aim of the project is to bring together and mobilise the whole community of skate, scooter, BMX and roller skaters around a unique place where they can practice sport and street art”.

This project will also to make Decathlon jobs and opportunities more popular. The Skate team is committed to welcome the most motivated young skateboarders interested in the professions offered at Decathlon for internships and job interviews.

An opportunity for these young people to discover the design of the products they market!
