Our Decathlon Corporate Foundation and the entire Decathlon company are very proud and happy to support the NGO Les Enfants de l’Ovale, in tribute to Olivier Ménard.
Throughout his career at Decathlon, Olivier has been a great supporter of our Decathlon Foundation, being involved already in 2007 with the NGO Les Enfants de l’Ovale in a rugby and integration project in Valenciennes, for young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods, and in another project in Shanghai with the NGO Sport For All, in 2014, for children from underprivileged communities, with sport as a vehicle for education.
His passion for rugby, combined with his desire to support people in fragile situations, will be fully represented through this support to les Enfants de l’Ovale.
We sincerely thank Céline Ménard, Olivier’s wife, who had the idea of this support and tribute. Thanks to him and his family, we are convinced that Olivier himself would have been proud of this commitment!
Thank you also to all the teams of the NGO Les Enfants de l’Ovale (employees, volunteers, Philippe Sella the founder) and to all the young girls and boys who have benefited from this project!
